Mother's Day Pressed Flower Cards Workshop

Discover the art of creating personalized, nature-inspired gifts during this intimate workshop designed specifically for families with children ages 6-12. The Mother's Day Pressed Flower Cards Workshop will be held on Sunday, May 11 at Vizcaya Village as part of the venue's Family Program Series.

Led by Anyi Botteri, a pressed flower artist and founder of "ayni," this free hands-on experience guides participants through the delicate process of designing greeting cards with preserved botanicals. Botteri brings her diverse creative background to the workshop, including her experience in film and music video production where she creates props and scenography for audiovisual projects.

The workshop takes place during Vizcaya Village's open-air Farmers Market, offering visitors a chance to explore local vendors before or after their creative session. All necessary materials—including various pressed flowers, card stock and adhesives—are provided at no cost.

Please note that this event is specifically designed for adults accompanied by children between 6-12 years old, and registrations without child tickets may be canceled to ensure space remains available for families. The activity operates on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, so early arrival is recommended.
