New media art transforms PAMM's bayfront terrace into a dynamic intersection of technology, creativity and community celebration. New Media Block Party and Floating Films: PAMMTV INTERTIDAL Premiere will take place Thursday, April 1, showcasing South Florida's innovative digital art scene.
The event celebrates the premiere of INTERTIDAL 2025 on PAMMTV with works by prominent artists including Yucef Merhi, Jacolby Satterwhite, Keisha Rae Witherspoon, domingo castillo flores and LIZN'BOW. Attendees can experience an array of interactive installations alongside screenings projected onto a 50-foot floating screen provided by Ballyhoo Media, visible from the museum's waterfront location.
The evening unfolds in three phases: from 6-8 p.m., guests can participate in AI-powered figure drawing with Raw Figs artists Melissa Wallen and Cynthia Cruz, explore community activations and enjoy DJ Pressure Point's opening set with happy hour specials at Verde restaurant. The PAMMTV INTERTIDAL screening runs from 8-9 p.m., followed by an afterparty with DJ Niña closing out the night.
More than ten leading media arts organizations from across South Florida will host activations, including Club Sinema, Interactive Initiative, FilmGate, FIU Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator, Locust Projects, Miami Film Festival and Third Horizon.
