Transform your old t-shirts into practical carry-all bags at this eco-friendly crafting session. The "No-Sew" T-Shirt Tote Workshop takes place on Thursday, April 24 in the Third Floor Conference Room of Otto G. Richter Library. Led by Cheryl Gowing from University Libraries in partnership with UThrift, this free event offers participants a hands-on opportunity to upcycle unused clothing items.
Attendees can bring their own t-shirts—whether a cherished concert tee or an unworn vacation souvenir—or select from donations provided by UThrift. The workshop requires no sewing skills and serves as part of the University of Miami Libraries' Earth Week 2025 programming, highlighting practical ways to reduce textile waste and extend the lifecycle of everyday items.
