Nova Exhibition Miami
Through Feb 16, 2025
weekly on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Tue-Sun: 11 AM - 8 PM | Fri: 11 AM - 6 PM
Opening December 18 at Greenwich Studios in North Miami, the Nova Exhibition Miami invites visitors to reflect on the tragic events of October 7, 2023, when the Nova Music Festival in Re’im, Israel, was violently disrupted by an unprecedented terrorist attack. This in-depth installation, created and directed by Reut Feingold, serves as both a remembrance of the 370 festival attendees who lost their lives and a platform for survivors to share their powerful testimonies.
The exhibit recreates the atmosphere of the Nova Music Festival, incorporating salvaged remnants from the festival grounds, including scorched cars, bullet-riddled bathroom stalls and personal belongings. Visitors will encounter a sensory and emotional journey, enhanced by survivors’ firsthand accounts and immersive installations designed to bear witness to the largest massacre in music history.
Having previously drawn over 260,000 visitors in Tel Aviv, New York and Los Angeles, including notable public figures and members of the entertainment industry, the exhibition now arrives in Miami. It aims to provide a sacred space for reflection and solidarity, with proceeds supporting the Nova Healing Journey, an initiative for mental health treatment for victims and families of the attack.
Recommended for ages 16 and older due to its sensitive content, the exhibition features graphic material, including gunshots, shouts and flickering lights, with some visual content blurred to respect the victims’ dignity. Visitors are encouraged to engage at their own discretion.
The Nova Exhibition Miami runs through February 16, 2025. Exhibition hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the last entry at 7:40 p.m., and Fridays until 6:00 p.m., with the last entry at 4:40 p.m. The exhibition is closed on Mondays except for December 23 and December 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m, with the last entry at 7:40 p.m.
