Omakase a lo Cubano

Discover a unique take on omakase dining with a menu inspired by Cuban flavors and personal culinary heritage. Omakase a lo Cubano takes place on Saturday, May 10, at The Social Club, located within the Kimpton Surfcomber Miami in South Beach.

This chef-led, nine-course dinner is curated by Executive Chef Gaston Javier Sanchez, who blends bold Caribbean ingredients with refined technique and storytelling. Each course—ranging from Caribbean yellowtail with mint mojo velouté to oxtail encendido over balsamic maduro hash—is introduced by the chef, offering insight into the cultural and creative influences behind the dishes.

With limited seating and a focus on intimate, immersive dining, the event offers guests a chance to explore Cuban-inspired cuisine through a modern lens. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
