Órgia
This event has passed.
Witness a powerful exploration of female resilience at the 38th International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami. Presented by Teatro Avante and Miami-Dade County Auditorium in partnership with the Roxy Theater, Órgia takes place on July 11-13 at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center.
Written and directed by Rocio Hoces & Julia Moyano, Órgia is a Spanish production presented by La Rara from Seville. This piece blends together stories of women whose lives have been silenced by abduction and abuse. The performance utilizes intimate accounts and a chorus of voices to create a moving collective narrative.
Órgia is part of Miami-Dade County Auditorium's Away From Home Series, which brings performances to alternative venues while the main auditorium undergoes renovations.
