Oscar Peñas Quartet Chicken or Pasta

Enjoy an evening of jazz with a South Florida debut performance by acclaimed Barcelona-born guitarist and composer Oscar Peñas and his quartet on Saturday, October 14 at The Moss Center. Accompanied by bassist Moto Fukushima, drummer Richie Barshay and violinist Sara Caswell, Peñas will be performing works from his latest album release Chicken or Pasta. The album recently debuted as #37 on the Jazz Week Chart.

Currently living in New York, Peñas is widely respected in the international jazz scene. He’s known for weaving engaging melodies that blend elements of jazz, Spanish folk music, and the European classical tradition.
