Out (Loud) in the Tropics

This spring, prepare to engage with thought-provoking performances that explore themes of gender politics, sexuality and freedom of expression. Out (Loud) in the Tropics, formerly known as Out in the Tropics, returns with a diverse lineup of international artists, showcasing daring and innovative work. Presented by FUNDarte in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Auditorium, Rhythm Foundation and various community partners, the series will take place at multiple venues throughout Miami.

The series kicks off on April 5, 2025, at the Miami Beach Bandshell with a double-bill concert. La Muchacha will perform at 8:00 p.m. followed by Pascuala Ilabaca & Fauna at 9:30 p.m. Then, on April 25 and 26, 2025, the Miami Theater Center hosts Apollo by Pioneer Winter Collective at 8:00 p.m. The final performance, Rayuela by Marco Flores, takes place on May 2 and 3, 2025, at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. These events are part of the Away From Home Series, a program ensuring that the performing arts remain vibrant while the Miami-Dade County Auditorium undergoes renovations.
