Preshow Conversation: The Cultural Impact of Gospel

As part of Gospel Fest Miami Weekend, the Adrienne Arsht Center will host a preshow discussion exploring gospel music’s influence across generations and genres. Taking place at the Peacock Education Center, this free program invites audiences to consider gospel’s role in shaping the sound and spirit of mainstream music.

Held on Sunday, June 22 , the conversation will feature an expert panel examining how the emotional resonance and spiritual roots of gospel have informed the development of rock, soul, R&B, hip-hop and more. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how gospel’s legacy continues to inspire artists and listeners far beyond the church.

This program is presented ahead of the evening’s concert performance by Tye Tribbett and is free to attend with RSVP.
