Queer Fest

A vibrant evening of art, performance and community care unfolds in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood with the return of Queer Fest, presented by Reflect Collective. Taking place Thursday, May 29 on Northeast 28th Street, this year’s event invites attendees to connect through a nature-themed celebration of queer expression and survivor visibility.

The festival features a full lineup of drag artists, including Sin Silva, Vanity Luxe, Noa Sinclair, Emma Jewel, Opal Am Rah, Ariesela, Flowing Frequency, gen.wav, Nami Flare, Spell, Cosmic Divinity, Mr. Mostacho and Ursa Arcana. Hosts Bad Papi and Ground Zero King will guide the evening, which blends performance with interactive elements like vendor stalls, a sensory space and a Queer Survivor Art Exhibit.

Live music will be provided by two Miami-based performers. gen.wav is a Cuban-American singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer whose work spans Latin, urban and electronic genres. He infuses his sound with R&B, hip hop, house and jazz influences while writing in both English and Spanish. Noa Sinclair, also performing, brings an indie-alternative approach to their sound, combining live vocals and experimental arrangements that explore themes of identity and transformation.

Highlighting the intersection of art and advocacy, the event will showcase a visual contribution by QTPOC survivor artist Jazz-Sofía Ramos-Idquierdo. As part of Reflect Collective’s mission to uplift queer and trans survivors of domestic and sexual violence, the festival integrates healing-centered resources, including free on-site HIV testing and access to a trauma-informed social worker.

Accessibility features include ASL interpretation, designated seating, sensory accommodations and clear event signage. Tickets are tiered from $10 to $40, and attendees are encouraged to wear nature-inspired outfits. Space is limited, and tipping performers in cash is strongly encouraged. All guests must adhere to community safety guidelines promoting consent and inclusivity.
