Community members are invited to take part in a hands-on upcycling event focused on creativity and sustainability at Dragonfly Thrift Boutique. Revamp & Reuse: A Second Chance Crafting Event will be held on Sunday, April 13, in collaboration with LEAP for Ladies.
In celebration of Second Chance Month and Earth Day, participants will learn how to transform thrifted T-shirts into reusable tote bags and create pins and bag charms using repurposed materials. The event encourages creativity while promoting waste reduction and support for second chances.
Guests are also encouraged to bring gently used men’s and women’s clothing and accessories for a community clothing drive. All donations will support LEAP for Ladies, an organization focused on empowering formerly incarcerated women through employment and education opportunities.
