Join New World Symphony for an evening of cultural celebration presented in commemoration of Dominican Republic independence. Ritmo Dominicano takes place Thursday, February 27, at Juan Pablo Duarte Park in Allapattah, featuring performances by New World Symphony Fellows alongside talented students from Young Musicians Unite at Young Men's Preparatory Academy. This free Mobile WALLCAST® Concert showcases traditional Dominican rhythms through dynamic musical collaborations, while the Miami Children's Museum offers interactive art workshops for all ages.
The performance is part of New World Symphony's Mobile WALLCAST® Concert Series, supported by the Knight Foundation, Jackson Health System, Wege Foundation and the NWS Resilience Fund. This collaboration between New World Symphony, Young Musicians Unite and Miami Children's Museum represents a meaningful partnership of local cultural organizations dedicated to enriching the community through music, education and interactive experiences.
