Join a dynamic conversation between two influential figures in contemporary art that brings together decades of curatorial innovation and cultural leadership. On Friday, January 31, PAMM's Scholl Lecture Series presents Thelma Golden, director and chief curator of The Studio Museum in Harlem, in conversation with PAMM Director Franklin Sirmans.
Golden, an influential figure in the contemporary art world, joins Sirmans to discuss her 20-year tenure advancing international artists of the African diaspora and her role in shaping contemporary art discourse. The discussion arrives at a significant moment, as The Studio Museum prepares to unveil its new building.
The program will be accessible through live translation in American Sign Language, Spanish and Haitian Creole, and will be streamed on PAMM's YouTube channel for remote viewers.
