Rooted in centuries-old Shaolin tradition, this weekend workshop at Hanu Yoga Studio offers an exploration of movement, mindfulness and martial philosophy from East Asia. Led by Shaolin Master Shi Heng Zheng, the Shaolin Wisdom: A Mind-Body Workshop Series takes place on Saturday, May 3, from 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, May 4, from 2 to 4 p.m.
This two-part series draws from Shaolin philosophy and traditional combat techniques, blending physical practice with guided internal reflection. Participants will engage in exercises designed to cultivate strength, focus and presence—qualities valued both in martial arts and everyday life. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or simply curious about integrating more intentional movement into your routine, the workshop is open to all levels.
Attendees can register for individual sessions at $75 each or take part in both for a discounted rate of $120.
