Immerse yourself in the rhythms and flavors of Brazilian Carnival amid the illuminated paths of Miami's premier botanical garden. Sip & Stroll: The Music of Carnival takes place on Thursday, February 27 at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, transforming the grounds into a celebration of music, dance and cultural traditions.
The evening features live performances by Trio de Janeiro, delivering authentic samba and bossa nova rhythms across two sets, complemented by DJ Lupa's curated tropical beats. A dedicated samba show adds to the festivities, bringing professional dancers to showcase traditional carnival choreography.
Visitors can enhance their experience with Brazilian-inspired refreshments, including traditional caipirinhas and specially crafted cocktails. A curated picnic basket for two is available for purchase at $65, featuring Brazilian delicacies such as Pão De Queijo, Picanha sandwiches and passionfruit mousse.
The garden opens at 5:45 p.m., with entertainment continuing until 9:15 p.m. Families can participate in carnival mask-making activities, while adults explore the illuminated garden pathways. Outside beverages, except water and glass containers are not permitted.
