Enjoy an oceanside concert featuring Solange Merdinian, a talented vocalist, known for her "smoldering stage presence" (New York Times) and "richly-hued voice" (BBC Music Magazine), on Sunday, June 2. This free performance, set to take place at Lummus Park, between 14th Street and 14th Place, is part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, a weekly concert series presented by the Ocean Drive Association.
Solante Merdinian, Miami-based American-Armenian-Argentinean vocalist excels in a wide range of genres, including classical, contemporary, folk, tango, cabaret and world music. A graduate of Bard College Conservatory and The Juilliard School, her first album, "Composing Roots," was released in 2020.
Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. Showtime is at 6:00 p.m. In case of rain, the performance will move indoors to The Betsy Hotel.
