Surfside Historical Walking Tour

Dive into Surfside's storied past with a guided walking tour led by renowned Miami historian Dr. Paul George. As part of the Town of Surfside's 90th-anniversary celebrations, these tours, presented in partnership with HistoryMiami, offer a fascinating journey through the area’s past. 

Scheduled for January 12, February 2, March 2 and May 4 at the Surfside Community Center, the tours will delve into Surfside's ancient Tequesta heritage, its incorporation, the founding of The Surf Club and the post-WWII development that shaped the town. These insightful tours are an excellent opportunity to connect with Surfside’s unique story as it gears up for its milestone anniversary on May 18.

The tour will be offered free of charge. Registration is required as spaces are limited.
