Sushi Rolling Basics Workshop

Master the art of sushi preparation in a hands-on culinary workshop designed for families and aspiring chefs. The Sushi Rolling Basics Workshop, scheduled for Tuesday, February 11 at the Doral Cultural Arts Center, offers participants a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of sushi making.

During this interactive session, attendees will learn essential techniques for ingredient preparation, rolling methods, and presentation skills. The workshop emphasizes safety and age-appropriate tasks, with children working alongside their parents to create their own rolls. Each step is carefully demonstrated, from proper rice preparation to final garnishing touches.

Participants will receive a printed recipe card to continue their sushi-making journey at home. The registration fee is $15 per person, and children must be accompanied by a parent. Free parking is available at the City Hall Parking Garage, located at 8401 NW 53rd Terrace, until 9:00 p.m.
