Experience world-class chamber music in an intimate historic setting. The Cleveland Orchestra's Chamber Ensemble performs at Sanctuary of the Arts on Thursday, January 23, presenting a diverse program of classical and contemporary works.
The evening's selections span multiple centuries and styles, including Mozart's The Hunt quartet, Borodin's String Quartet No. 2 and contemporary pieces by Javier Alvarez and Henry Cowell. The program also features Debussy's Clair de Lune in a string quartet arrangement by Stephan Koncz, and Rune Tonsgaared Sørensen's Shine You No More.
Following a 30-minute performance, audience members will have the opportunity to engage directly with the musicians during a question-and-answer session.
