Experience the convergence of abstract art and fashion against Miami's downtown skyline. The Clothes Out: An Evening of Fashion & Art, presented by the GMCVB Art of Black Miami in collaboration with Marcus Blake and the Kimpton EPIC Hotel, will take place on Friday, February 28, at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel's 16th-floor pool deck.
This event celebrates a decade of impact for Art of Black Miami with a dynamic fashion show featuring the bold, abstract designs of Jamaican-born, Miami-based multimedia artist Marcus Blake. Known for his ability to merge art and fashion, Blake creates wearable masterpieces that celebrate individuality and challenge traditional conventions.
Attendees can explore Blake's closing exhibition, Fragmented Reality, which represents the culmination of his EPIC Art - Artist in Residency Program. His work draws inspiration from Miami's architecture and tropical landscapes, expressed through various mediums including poetry, street art, fashion and performance.
The evening features live music and refreshments. Advance registration is required.
