The Earth Month Bike Ride
Apr 26, 2025
From: 10:00 AM to Noon
Experience Miami's natural beauty and biodiversity on a guided spring bicycle tour through some of the city's most ecologically rich corridors. The Earth Month Bike Ride, hosted by Friends of The Underline in partnership with Dade Heritage Trust and Friends of the Commodore Trail, takes place Saturday, April 26, starting and ending at Vizcaya Station Plaza. This family-friendly, 3-mile loop includes stops at Simpson Hammock Park and Alice Wainwright Park, where participants can observe native species and migrating Atala butterflies in their natural habitat.
Riders should come prepared with helmets, comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen and water. The plaza is easily accessible via Metrorail to Vizcaya Station, and metered parking is available in the station lot. In case of inclement weather, the event will be postponed if there is a 50% or greater chance of rain two hours before the scheduled start time.
