The Expendables

Santa Cruz-based band The Expendables, known for their blend of ska, surf rock, punk, reggae and metal, bring their High Tide Fall Tour to the Miami Beach Bandshell on Friday, September 20. They'll be joined by supporting bands Drifting Roots and Sailor Jane.

Formed in the mid-90s, The Expendables have evolved from spirited high school party band to a group with a unique sound born from their laid-back California lifestyle. Their live shows are known for their high energy and the band's latest track, "Surfman Cometh," channels spaghetti western meets "Pipeline" twang.
