The Gathering

Designed as a space for connection and reflection, this community gathering brings together Black professionals, creatives and entrepreneurs for an evening that blends networking with cultural celebration. The next edition of The Gathering, titled Black in Bloom, takes place on Thursday, May 15 at Co-Space.

Organized by Key2MIA®, the event highlights themes of wellness, heritage and community growth, aligning with both Mental Health Awareness Month and Haitian Heritage Month. Attendees can expect an intentional networking experience aimed at fostering meaningful connections, whether for collaboration, support or shared inspiration.

The program also features a mini-vendor fair showcasing Black-owned businesses, a community conversation spotlighting the history of Miami Gardens and Key2MIA’s signature trivia game, So You Think You Know Miami?, with prizes from local vendors. Music and social vibes round out the evening, creating a relaxed environment for dialogue and discovery.

Admission is free and open to those looking to engage with Miami’s Black community in a purposeful and welcoming setting.
