The Gothic Cosplay Cabaret

A cabaret-style performance night inspired by gothic themes and pop culture takes center stage at Black Box Media Miami. The Gothic Cosplay Cabaret, held on Saturday, April 26, features a mix of alternative drag, burlesque, aerial acts, fire performance and live music, all set within a costumed, immersive atmosphere.
The evening begins earlier with a pre-show vendor market and DJ set from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., followed by outdoor fire performances starting at 9:00 p.m. Once doors open for the indoor cabaret, audiences can expect a curated mix of acts featuring characters drawn from anime, comics and classic supernatural tales. A costume contest will also be held, with prizes sponsored by Galaxycon, FreakHouse Miami and Otaku Fest.
Performers include members of the Doll Linkup collective, Ground Zero, King Vyper, Santi Flame and others, with violinist Nay Roze and poet Avery Crane contributing to the show’s atmospheric elements. Hosted by Circus Joshira, the event invites attendees ages 18 and over to dress in theme—Gothic Victorian elegance is encouraged but not required.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and free venue parking is provided.
