Colorful hot air balloons, live entertainment and family-friendly activities fill the skies and grounds of Tamiami Park. The Miami Hot Air Balloon Festival takes over Tamiami Park from Friday, February 28 to Saturday, March 1, each evening from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
This family-friendly celebration features Monster Show Kites and offers visitors the chance to experience tethered hot air balloon rides for $35 per person (weather permitting). As dusk settles each evening around 9 p.m., the festival culminates in a Hot Air Balloon Glow & Laser Show, where illuminated balloons synchronize with music for an unforgettable display.
Throughout the event, visitors can browse craft and retail vendor booths, enjoy festival fare from various food vendors, and dance to live music and DJ performances. A dedicated Kids Zone provides games and rides for younger guests.
Guests are welcome to bring blankets and chairs to create their perfect viewing spot in the track infield. Free onsite parking includes VIP and handicapped options. While outside food and coolers are not permitted, a variety of refreshments, including alcoholic beverages for guests 21 and over, will be available for purchase.
Balloon inflation times depend on safe wind conditions, with announcements made throughout the event. Festival organizers recommend early ticket purchase as space is limited.
