Feb 19, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
The Philadelphia Orchestra returns to the Knight Concert Hall for an evening of Brahms led by acclaimed music and artistic director Yannick Nézet-Séguin. This performance, taking place on Thursday, February 19, 2026, features two pillars of the Romantic symphonic canon: Symphony No. 2 and Symphony No. 4 by Johannes Brahms.
Renowned for its lush sound and expressive depth, the Philadelphia Orchestra has long been regarded as one of the finest ensembles in the world. Under Nézet-Séguin’s leadership since 2012, the orchestra has deepened its connection to tradition while embracing a fresh, vibrant energy. Their interpretation of Brahms promises both refinement and power, reflecting the composer’s balance of classical structure and emotional richness.
Audiences can also enjoy Classical Conversations, a pre-show talk held one hour before the concert in the Peacock Education Center. This program provides background on the evening’s music and insights into the lives and work of the composers and performers.
This concert is part of the Adrienne Arsht Center’s 2025–26 Classical Music Series. Tickets go on sale to the public beginning September 19.
