Tigre Sounds Presents: Beats Per Mile
Apr 30, 2025
From: Noon to 5:00 PM
In celebration of Miami Race Week, Tigre Sounds brings together Latin rhythms and local flavor with a daytime music event at Caracas Bakery Biscayne. The experience, part of the ongoing Beats Per Mile series, takes place on Wednesday, April 30 from noon to 5:00 p.m., and offers an intimate blend of global grooves, vinyl culture and culinary staples in one of Miami’s favorite bakery cafés.
The curated lineup features artists whose sounds reflect the diversity of the Latin diaspora. Gia Fu, based in Hong Kong, opens with a salsa vinyl set that honors classic Latin rhythms and analog traditions. She’s followed by a special back-to-back performance from DJ Le Spam and Nickodemus, blending Miami’s Afro-Caribbean influences with a dose of New York global club energy. The afternoon closes with Killabeatmaker, whose fusion of Afro-Colombian electronica and folktrónica will be accompanied by a guest artist.
This midday musical gathering offers a space to connect over music, movement and community during one of the city’s most high-energy weeks. Admission is free and open to all.
