Turtle Tuesday Beach Clean Up
Feb 25, 2025
From: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Environmental stewardship comes alive through hands-on coastal conservation efforts. Turtle Tuesday Beach Cleanup invites community members to join local environmental organizations on Tuesday, February 25 at 29th Street Beach in Miami Beach.
Co-hosted by The Miami Beach EDITION and supported by the Sea Turtle Conservation Program, The City of Miami Beach, ECF Wealth and Delta Air Lines, this cleanup effort focuses on removing litter and debris from the beach and dune areas. Volunteers will be provided with sanitized gardening gloves, buckets, bags and pickers for the collection process.
Participants should meet at the oceanfront lifeguard tower, marked by a turtle flag. Closed-toed shoes are recommended for dune cleanup and volunteers are encouraged to bring reusable water containers and wear reef-safe sun protection. Community service hours are available for participants who arrive on time.
Metered street parking is available, with additional parking at 2660 Collins Ave. All ages are welcome to participate in this conservation initiative.
