Explore the artistry and spiritual depth of Sogetsu Ikebana in a hands-on class at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Welcome to the World of Sogetsu Ikebana takes place on Saturday, February 1, offering two sessions led by Sensei Stephan Eberhagen. Participants will learn basic ikebana techniques, create their own arrangements and discover the meditative aspects of this Japanese floral art.
Each 90-minute beginner class includes a focused briefing, creative arrangement time and a review session to discuss your work. Flowers and greens will be provided, but attendees must bring their own supplies, including a flat container (Suiban), a flower pin holder (Kenzan), and ikebana flower scissors (Hasami).
