Experience the diverse spectrum of Miami's literary talent across generations in an evening that showcases the power of poetry and creative expression. Where Mangos Drop: O, Miami Variety Show takes place on Thursday, April 17 at the Miami Beach Bandshell, with doors opening at 6 p.m.
As part of the 2025 O, Miami Poetry Festival, this celebratory event brings together diverse voices from throughout Miami, hosted by accomplished poet and musician Marnino Toussaint. The evening's headline performance features the renowned Carol City Marching Chiefs, adding a dynamic musical element to the literary festivities.
The variety show highlights participants from O, Miami's year-round educational initiatives, creating a platform where creativity flourishes regardless of age or neighborhood. Attendees will enjoy performances by students from the in-school Sunroom program, emerging creatives from the Greenhouse summer apprenticeship, teaching artists, audiobook contributors and many others who represent Miami's vibrant literary community.
