Winter Mix

Miami City Ballet presents a dynamic mixed repertory of classical and contemporary dance at the Arsht Center from February 14 to 16, 2025. This upcoming Winter Mix program features two works by the legendary George Balanchine alongside a world premiere from the innovative choreographer Pam Tanowitz.

As the preeminent interpreter of the Balanchine repertory, Miami City Ballet brings to life his Walpurgisnacht Ballet, showcasing two dozen women in a vibrant display of virtuosity. Additionally, on the 20th anniversary of its addition to the company repertoire, Balanchine’s La Valse will enchant audiences with its dark, romantic waltz set to Maurice Ravel's haunting score. Completing the program, Pam Tanowitz presents a world premiere, characterized by her intentional unpredictability, whimsical complexity and natural drama, subtly redefining the tradition of dance.
