From: 10:00 AM to Noon
Students and young professionals interested in environmental careers will have a chance to connect with industry leaders during a dynamic half-day event at HistoryMiami Museum. Featuring a panel discussion and an interactive networking activity, the event aims to provide insight into diverse pathways within the sustainability and conservation fields.
The Youth Environmental Career Summit, taking place on Saturday, May 17, begins with a moderated panel featuring experts from academia, policy, climate tech, non-profits, media and the arts. Attendees will learn about different roles in environmental work and have the opportunity to engage in a live Q&A session.
Following the panel, participants can take part in “Career Bingo,” a structured networking activity designed to encourage conversations with professionals and peers. Presented in partnership with organizations such as Miami Waterkeeper, Debris Free Oceans, Big Blue & You and Ocean Conservancy, the summit is open to all ages and encourages early engagement with career opportunities in environmental stewardship.
