Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center
This exciting new Cultural Arts Center resides in the magnificent 1911 fully restored Miami Landmark building, The J.W. Warner Place, House and Garden, listed on the National register of Historic Places. (MHCAC) is the home to some of the most recognized arts organizations in Miami: the Miami Hispanic Ballet (MHB) presenting the Annual International Ballet Festival of Miami, the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami (CCBM), dedicated to preserve the brilliant technique and rich heritage of the famed Cuban Ballet tradition outside Cuba and reation Art Center (CAC) with the mission to preserve and promote the Hispanic Culture in Miami Dade County, producing all cultural events at the MHCAC. The Center also houses the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami School, dedicated to train dancers to a professional level, based on the Cuban ballet methodology.
Open from Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. the MHCAC offers a variety of artistic disciplines: Theater, Films, Performances, Concerts, Book Presentations, Poetry Readings, and regular instruction in Ballet with an exceptional national and international staff of teachers as well as Art Exhibits, which are on display all year round. Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami
The Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami (CCBM) was founded in 2006 solely dedicated to performing and preserving the classical ballet repertoire as exemplified by the Cuban ballet tradition. CCBM is the only dance company in South Florida dedicated to the classical ballet repertoire focusing on the legacy of the Cuban Ballet. The Company has a regular yearly season that includes four programs, presented in several venues throughout Miami-Dade County, featuring guest Cuban principal dancers and soloists as well as CCBM corps the ballet. Famous for its artistic virtuosity and technical brilliance, the Cuban Ballet School has trained some of the most well-known dancers of today and the late 20th century, and has created a technique that is unmatched in modern day classical ballet.
International Ballet Festival of Miami
Miami’s longest running dance festival turns 28 this year and returns with a series of Live and virtual performances! Ballet and contemporary dance fans will be in for treat with the International Ballet Festival’s impressive lineup of performances featuring over 100 exceptional dancers from all over the globe. This year’s festivities run from July 23rd through August 14th.

Pena and Warner Art Galleries
The Pena and Warner Galleries at the Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center are open every day to the public from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. offering throughout the year a series of art exhibits, featuring local and visiting visual artists from Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, as well as a permanent exhibit of the history of the JW Warner House Historical Landmark. The Center has managed to establish a private collection of over 100 works that have been donated by the artists whom have exhibited at the Center. The Private Collection is on display at the times where there is no artist on exhibit. Free entrance.

The magnificent 1911 fully restored Miami Landmark building, The J.W. Warner Place, House and Garden is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the only one from Miami featured in Remaking America the definitive book of historic houses in America. This impressive Neo-Classical building was designed for J.W. Warner, founder of South Florida's first floral company. The home's fine craftsmanship is especially evident in its massive columns, Palladian window and porte-cochère. Wide porches and verandas adapt the J.W. Warner House to the Florida climate with a graciousness that evokes the elegance of Florida's early years. This house was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Entrance and tour of house and Art Exhibit IS FREE.
The property is located in Miami’s Little Havana, between the Miami River, Downtown and the up and coming Brickell, easily accessible to the Miami community and our visitors. Boasting two beautiful art exhibit spaces, two dance studios, an outdoor stage, as well as lovely gardens and parking. In addition to the historical tour of this remarkable building are the preservation and education of the history of Miami through the recovered archives and information about the original owners, the JW Warner family. Viernes de Tertulia
Literary Encounters, now on its tenth season, are scheduled to take place at 8:00 pm on the third Friday of each month, conducted by Miami Herald's writer and reviewer Luis de la Paz. Featuring renowned painters, actors, singers, art critics, dancers and directors, who are interviewed by the host as they share with the audience their professional careers and experiences, followed by a Q&A. Guest artists are selected two months in advance. This program is in Spanish.

Poetry Nights
Noches de Poesia a program in collaboration with the Casa de Valencia Foundation and the Ibero-American Literary Circle led by Historian and writer Dr. Jorge Valencia and the writer Mercedes Minota, is presented monthly at the Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center is dedicated to promote and encourage poets to showcase their works. Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami School Classes
Famous for its artistic virtuosity and technical brilliance, the Cuban Ballet School has trained some of the most well known dancers of today and the late 20th Century, and has created a technique that is unmatched in modern day classical ballet. The CCBM School trains dancers from beginners to professionals within the strict regulations of the classical ballet Cuban methodology. Adult ballet classes are also available Tuesdays & Thursdays. The facility has two art gallery spaces on the first floor: “Pena Gallery” featuring constant exhibitions that last from 4 to 6 weeks with a seating capacity of 70 people, and the “Warner Gallery”, with a permanent exhibition of historical documentation belonging to the original owners of this mansion. On the second floor we have 2 dance studios, with state of the art dance floors, fitting approximately 30 people each. The second floor also has the MHCAC Hall showcasing a private collection with works donated by past artists that have exhibited in our center. Finally, we have an outside stage area that's approximately 24' X 24'
