Responsible for making Miami’s live music scene more diverse since 1988, The Rhythm Foundation has been a leading contributor to the city’s cultural growth via its eclectic programming of international music and community-based presentations. The non-profit has presented concerts, festivals and special events featuring over 800 artists from all over the world that include the likes of Chucho Valdes, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, AIR, Seu Jorge, Tortoise, Juana Molina, Devendra Bernhardt and many more. Included among its side projects and collaborations are a number of festivals and special events such as Global Cuba Fest, GroundUp Music Fest, North Beach Social and Ritmo Doral to name a few.

In addition to their cultural programming, The Rhythm Foundation also manages the iconic Miami Beach Bandshell. In 2015, Miami Beach awarded the organization the keys to the 1400-capacity oceanfront amphitheater. With the historic venue as their home, The Rhythm Foundation hosts a well-rounded schedule of 127+ events per year welcoming locals and visitors alike.
