Jackson Memorial Hospital

This is an accredited, non-profit, tertiary care hospital and the major teaching facility for the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. With nearly 1,000 licensed beds, it's a magnet for medical research and home to Ryder Trauma Center -- the only adult and pediatric Level I trauma center in Miami-Dade County -- and the Miami Transplant Institute, one of the nation's top transplant programs.
