Claude Pepper Park is a North Miami hangout that’s great for sports lovers. It was named after Claude Denson Pepper, a beloved politician who represented Greater Miami in the United States House of Representatives from 1963-1989.
Park Amenities and Activities
At Claude Pepper Park, both budding and experienced athletes can take advantage of two basketball courts, 12 tennis courts, three softball and baseball diamonds, and large green spaces that are great for pickup games of soccer or football. Kids can get out their energy on the playground and all ages enjoy the paved walking path around the outer edge of the park.
The onsite Joe Celestin Center, a membership-driven community center, hosts events and fitness classes and offers spaces available for rent.
