A Welcome and Visitor Center located between everything Miami and the Florida Keys. This is the place to stop by when visiting the National Parks and all the great outdoor places that Miami has to offer.

Whether you need information on the many places to stay in the area, some of the best local restaurants, shopping, the Everglades and Biscayne National parks, or any of the great family-friendly eco and agri-tourism attractions, this Visitor Center has been serving the traveling public for over 32 years. Come out and explore the Historic Redland Tropical Trail.  Our Visitor Center also offers a great gift shop.

During this pandemic, our Visitor Center has cut back our days and hours of operation to Tuesday - Saturday from 9am to 4pm. We have instituted a number of safety policies including the requirement to wear masks.  We have put around the Visitor Center social distancing signs.  We are limiting bathroom use to one person at a time.  We have put up plexiglass screens at each of our information counters.  We have a hand sanitizer station.   And, please do not forget our friendly goldfish.  Instead of a coin machine for food, we now sell the fish food in cups behind the counter.  We want to work together to keep you and us safe!
