Celebrate the vibrancy of Black art and culture at the 8th Annual Basel B.A.E: Black Art Experience on Friday, December 6, at The Urban. This dynamic evening brings together visual art, music and community in a unique showcase, featuring works in painting, photography, sculpture and fashion by talented Black artists. Attendees will have the chance to meet the artists, hear insights about their creations and even purchase artworks, with additional offerings from local vendors.
Presented by Socialxchange, the event promises an engaging atmosphere, enhanced by a diverse music lineup curated by eclectic DJs. Alongside the art, enjoy food, hookah, and interactive experiences such as free creative headshots, live portrait sessions, and live painting. The Jack’n for Beats karaoke experience, powered by Jack Daniels, adds a fun, participatory element to the night.
