Greater Miami & Miami Beach is a dynamic cultural destination any time of year, with a slew of contemporary art galleries, state-of-the-art museums and the famous murals in the Wynwood Arts District. Art Wynwood was established in February 2012 over President’s Day Weekend by the same team that produces Art Miami during Miami Art Week.
In 2024, Art Wynwood will be held from February 14-18 at One Herald Plaza overlooking Biscayne Bay in Downtown Miami. The show will be held in collaboration with the Miami International Boat Show, which will have yachts docked at the adjacent marina over President’s Day Weekend, promising a dynamic atmosphere for patrons of the arts as well as the great outdoors.
Artists & Galleries at Art Wynwood
Art Wynwood’s curatorial focus is on emerging contemporary talent, mid-career artists and blue chip post-war modern masters. The fair routinely draws more than 25,000 patrons during the long weekend and showcases the works of over 180 artists from 50 international galleries from countries including Germany, Chile, Russia, France and the United Kingdom.
Miami galleries represented at Art Wynwood in recent years have included Robert Fontaine Gallery, ArtLabbé Gallery, Blink Group Projects, Cernuda Arte, Contemporary Art Projects USA, Galleria Ca’ D’Oro, Eternity Gallery, Jasa Fine Art, Latin Art Core, Miami Art Society, ModArt Gallery, Projects Gallery, Super Buddha, The Bonnier Gallery and Waltman Ortega Fine Art.
Patrons routinely admire and acquire important work by artists such as Banksy, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alexander Calder, Marc Chagall, Ed Ruscha, Andy Warhol and Ai Weiwei.
VIP Experience
The weekend offers several brunches and cocktail receptions in the VIP lounge, as well as private tours of the fair arranged for museum groups and professionals. A VIP opening reception will be held on Thursday, February 16, to give patrons the first chance at acquiring new works on display.
