Between Here and Elsewhere opens to commemorate Oolite Arts' 40th anniversary, featuring an expansive exhibition of works by the organization's resident artists and filmmakers, curated by Omar López-Chahoud.
This multifaceted event invites visitors to experience diverse artistic expressions spanning photography, sculpture, installations and digital media that investigate personal narratives, shared memories, societal frameworks, environmental concerns and future possibilities. Beyond the main exhibition, attendees can participate in Open Studios, offering direct engagement with resident artists and insight into their creative processes. The evening also showcases Miami Arts Charter School: Emerging Voices, a special exhibition highlighting outstanding works from promising young artists representing the next generation of Miami's cultural landscape.
