Documentary screening examines antisemitism on college campuses with filmmaker discussion. Blind Spot will be shown on Sunday, May 4 at the Jewish Museum of Florida. This documentary investigates the increase in antisemitism at American universities, focusing on events both before and after October 7, 2023.
The film features interviews with Jewish students from more than a dozen universities who share their personal experiences with hostility and discrimination. Through the stories of approximately two dozen students, viewers gain insight into the challenges these individuals face and their efforts to address antisemitism in academic settings.
Following the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a conversation with Leonard Gold, the documentary's executive producer. The event includes refreshments for participants.
