Built to Last: The Art of Steve Marcus
Through Apr 27, 2025
weekly on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
From: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Contemporary visual art explores the intersection of motorcycle culture and Jewish spirituality through graphic design and mixed media. Built to Last: The Art of Steve Marcus is on display through April 27 at the Jewish Museum of Florida on Miami Beach.
The New York City-based artist combines elements of hot rod aesthetics, underground comics and Jewish philosophical traditions in a distinctive visual style. Marcus draws from his background in counterculture and his later engagement with Rabbinical studies to create works that bridge secular and spiritual themes. The exhibition showcases pieces in various media that reflect both the artist's connection to road culture and his exploration of Jewish traditions and teachings.
