Classic Album Sundays: Stereolab & Broadcast
This event has passed.
Explore two influential albums that defined the sounds of the late '90s and early 2000s during a unique listening experience at Soundlux Audio in Wynwood. Classic Album Sundays: Stereolab & Broadcast takes place on Sunday, March 30, showcasing Stereolab’s Dots and Loops (1997) and Broadcast’s The Noise Made By People (2000).
Stereolab's Dots and Loops seamlessly blends elements of lounge, krautrock, bossa nova and electronic music, crafting a distinctive sound that continues to resonate decades after its release. Broadcast’s debut album, The Noise Made By People, merges the nostalgic charm of 1960s space-age pop with psychedelic electronic textures, highlighted by the unforgettable vocals of the band's late frontwoman, Trish Keenan.
This event, presented locally by Sweat Records and Soundlux Audio, provides attendees with a chance to experience these groundbreaking records on a world-class sound system. Complimentary Estrella Damm beer will be available for guests aged 21 and older while supplies last.
Seating at Soundlux Audio is limited, and attendees are encouraged to arrive on time, as walk-up seating is limited and late arrivals may not gain entry. Classic Album Sundays is a UK-based series dedicated to immersive listening sessions. Sweat Records and Soundlux Audio have hosted these events in Miami since 2016.
