Earth Day Beach Cleanup: Clean Miami Beach
Apr 22, 2025
From: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Celebrate Earth Day with a meaningful coastal conservation effort at one of Miami Beach's popular oceanfront locations. The Earth Day Beach Cleanup will take place on Tuesday, April 22, at the beach near 10th Street, organized by Clean Miami Beach.
This community-focused environmental event is co-hosted by AE Global and rePurpose Global, with additional support from partners including RELM, the City of Miami Beach, Jenbacher, Delta Air Lines, 5G Recycling, Mita Eyewear and I am Miami.
Participants will meet at the oceanfront – look for the turtle flag that marks the gathering point. All necessary cleanup supplies will be provided, including sanitized gardening gloves, buckets, bags and pickers. Attendees are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes (especially when cleaning along the dunes), bring their own reusable water containers (a refill station will be available) and wear reef-safe sun protection and a hat.
For those driving to the event, parking options include the garage at 1041 Collins Avenue or metered street parking in the surrounding area. The GPS address for the cleanup location is 1001 Ocean Drive.
Community service hours are available for participants who arrive on time, and the event welcomes people of all ages who wish to contribute to protecting Miami Beach's coastal environment.
