Kick back to authentic Black dance music as talented local and notable DJs take over Gramps for a night of rhythmic exploration. FOOTPRNT MMW Edition, happening Sunday, March 30 at Gramps Wynwood, brings together an all-Black, all-star lineup to close out Miami Music Week with style and substance.
This free event, presented by Gramps and Public Energy, serves as a celebration of Black dance music's influence on electronic music culture. In a week dominated by commercial pool parties and mainstream venues, FOOTPRNT creates an essential space honoring the Black originators who shaped genres like house, techno, footwork and club music.
The impressive lineup features fan favorites and returning artists including Gumthewrapper, Toni Shardai, Sucia!, Duality, RARA and LePoodle. Attendees can expect to hear diverse sounds spanning footwork, juke, Baltimore club, jungle and ghettotech.
FOOTPRNT emerged from multidisciplinary artist Ty Davis's (aka DJ Duality) vision to highlight Black voices in Miami's dance music scene. Since 2023, the event series has emphasized the role Black culture has played in developing dance music globally, creating space for talents often overlooked during Miami's biggest electronic music week.
