Community environmental action takes a festive turn at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. The Kegkini Beach Cleanup, scheduled for Saturday, March 29, combines conservation efforts with social activities, offering volunteers a way to protect local ecosystems while enjoying entertainment and refreshments.
This collaborative event, organized by Keep Florida Clean, The Tank and Tacos & Tattoos, provides participants with an opportunity to help preserve the park's natural beauty while enjoying complimentary beverages, live DJ performances and a variety of food options. Volunteers will focus on cleaning the park grounds, beach areas and shoreline, contributing to the maintenance of this historic location.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable containers, sun protection gear, appropriate footwear and gardening gloves. This free event also features a vendor market and raffle prizes.
