LIVE AT SWEAT: Julz The Great & SHIVVA

Experience a night of punk and alternative rock with two of Miami's rising musical acts at Sweat Records. LIVE AT SWEAT featuring Julz The Great and SHIVVA takes place on Friday, April 4, showcasing fresh sounds from the local music scene.

Julz The Great, a fixture in Miami's music landscape since 2016 with her band Soulpax, brings her solo "diet punk" project that blends classic punk with 90's grunge, southern rock and progressive elements. She'll be performing with her lineup of Alex Martinez, DJ Gonzalez and Gabriel "Garbo" Sariego. Having opened for notable acts like St. Paul and the Broken Bones and being an NPR Tiny Desk Finalist in 2018, Julz is set to make waves across South Florida in 2025.

Sharing the bill is SHIVVA, a Miami-based shoegaze band formed in late 2021 that has quickly gained recognition for their dreamy, immersive sound. Their discography includes the Uroxicide EP and their recent track Siempreviva.

This all-ages event offers snacks and refreshments, with convenient parking available in the gated lot on the side of the building.
