Screening of Common Ground

Discover the connection between farming practices, environmental health and our shared future at a special Earth month documentary screening in the heart of Coral Gables. Common Ground, the award-winning follow-up to Kiss the Ground, will be shown at the Coral Gables Art Cinema on Tuesday, April 22.

This compelling film exposes the complex relationships between American farming policy, politics and public health while highlighting the transformative potential of regenerative agriculture. Through stories of both environmental destruction and healing from across the United States and beyond, Common Ground demonstrates how people from diverse backgrounds, political beliefs and geographical locations are united by the soil beneath their feet.

Directed by Josh and Rebecca Tickell, known for their bold environmental documentaries, the film features prominent voices including Rosario Dawson, Laura Dern, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, Jason Momoa and Ian Somerhalder. It also includes valuable insights from farmers, ranchers, scientists, educators and other experts in the field.

The Keep Coral Gables Beautiful team will be present outside the cinema beginning at 5:00 p.m. to share information about local sustainability initiatives, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. for the screening.
