Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Gershwin’s Concerto in F at Shelly Berg Plays Gershwin on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at UM Gusman Concert Hall. Part of the Frost School of Music’s Signature Series, the concert features Frost School Dean Shelly Berg as the soloist alongside conductor Gerard Schwarz and the Frost Symphony Orchestra. The program includes a world premiere by Paul Moravec, the third centennial commission, as well as Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande Suite and Ravel’s Rapsodie espagnole. This evening performance offers a blend of classical and contemporary works, culminating in Gershwin's iconic concerto.
