STEM Challenge Expo
May 10, 2025
From: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Young innovators showcase their solutions to real-world science problems at this engineering design competition. The STEM Challenge Expo takes place on Saturday, May 10 at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science.
This free event features middle and high school students who have advanced through preliminary judging, presenting their models and research to both expert judges and museum visitors. Beyond the student engineering projects, the expo includes exhibitions from Florida Coastal Everglades Long Term Ecological Research and the FIU Institute of Environment, where students display innovative combinations of scientific research and artistic expression.
Located in the Hsiao Family Special Exhibition Gallery on the museum's first floor, this event is open to the public and does not require museum admission.
